Verizon Center, managed by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, is home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, the NHL’s Washington Capitals, and the Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball team. Located in the heart of Chinatown off of the Gallery-Place Chinatown Metro stop, Verizon Center is only a few steps away from the White House and hosts more than 220 events and concerts each year.
Press Entrance
The arena is located at 601 F Street NW with a separate media entrance located at the corner of 6th and G Streets NW. All members of the media must enter and exit through the media entrance and have the proper credentials to access an event at Verizon Center. All bags will be subject to search upon entry at the press entrance.
Credentials
All members of the media must have the proper credentials or approvals to enter Verizon Center or to cover an event at Verizon Center.

Parking
Parking is not provided for members of the media attending or covering events at Verizon Center. There are several public parking garages in the surrounding area, as well as street parking. Verizon Center does have its own parking garage which is generally open to the public during events and is located next to the press entrance at the corner of 6th and G Streets NW. Event parking is $25.00.
